We welcome you to the heart of the Risse valley on the heights of the town of Mégevette. We are in the hamlet of La Glappaz at 1100 meters above sea level. Les Maisons de la Glappaz are located:

- one hour from Geneva airport by motorway,

- one hour ten from Annecy,

- one hour ten from Chamonix.

- 40 minutes from Thonon-les-Bains, Evian-les-bains and Lake Geneva.

We have completely renovated an old Savoyard attic to welcome you. The two Savoyard granaries were finished in 1903 and the large farmhouse in 1822.

With a capacity of 1 to 4 people, the house is on three levels on the ground floor bathroom with shower, separate wc.

On the first floor a kitchen equipped with oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, kettle, induction hob and all the necessary equipment to cook like at home. You will find at this level a 140x190 cm sofa bed with a 14 cm mattress to ensure your comfort.

On the second floor, a large bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed and a TV area.

We are in the middle of the mountains, in a very quiet place where you can really enjoy the calm. The view is magnificent, with Haute Pointe opposite (1958m) and Pointe des Jottis.(1548m).

You have access to a large terrace.

Many hikes can be done from the house or less than 20 minutes by car.

In winter, several resorts depending on your level can accommodate you: Hirmentaz (10 mins), Les Brasses (15 mins), Praz de Lys-Sommand (30 mins), Grand Massif (45 mins), Les Gets. You can also go cross-country skiing 20 minutes by car, or snowshoeing from the house.

In winter, for you safety it is imperative to have chains in the car or a car that has 4-wheel drive.
